Cowrie offers the following general-education and community Services:

Curated Reading Circle — RM 460/month

A monthly reading circle exploring well-regarded books and articles on everyday money literacy, with guided discussion sessions and reflective notes provided to all participants.

Resource Library Membership — RM 1,380/year

Ongoing access to a curated library of summaries, reading lists, and worksheets, together with a community discussion space. Access is granted for the duration of the annual membership period.

Deep-Read Literacy Programme — RM 3,950/programme

A multi-month structured general-education programme working through key money-literacy ideas via guided reading and discussion, with curated materials and a certificate of attendance upon completion.

All Services are intended for general educational and personal-development purposes. Nothing delivered through Cowrie constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or any form of regulated professional service.

Service availability is subject to minimum enrolment numbers and may vary. Cowrie reserves the right to adjust session schedules or formats with reasonable notice.

4. Enrolment and Accounts

When you register for a Service, you agree to:

Cowrie may suspend or close an account if we have reason to believe that registration information is inaccurate or that the account has been used in breach of these Terms.

5. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

As a user of our Services, you agree to engage respectfully and constructively. You must not:

Cowrie maintains a respectful community environment. Users who breach acceptable-use expectations may be removed from programmes or memberships without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All original Content produced by Cowrie — including curated reading lists, session notes, worksheets, discussion guides, and website copy — is the intellectual property of Cowrie and is protected under Malaysian copyright law.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Cowrie Content solely for your own private, non-commercial reading and study. This licence does not permit you to:

Third-party books, articles, and resources referenced in our programmes remain the property of their respective authors and publishers. Cowrie does not claim ownership of externally published works.

7. Payment Terms

All fees are stated and charged in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Pricing is as follows:

Cowrie accepts payment via methods communicated at the time of enrolment. Fees are non-refundable except where stated below or required by applicable Malaysian consumer law.

If a session is cancelled by Cowrie, participants will receive either a replacement session or a pro-rata credit at our discretion.

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Cowrie's liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our Services is limited to the total fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

On termination, your licence to access Cowrie Content ends. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. Please write to [email protected] describing the issue in detail.

If informal resolution is not possible, both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, with any proceedings to be conducted in Ipoh, Perak, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
